私が好きな場所の一つ、神社。

One of my favorite places is the shrine

好きな理由はたくさんあります。

There are many reasons why I love being in the shrine :

根源的なインスピレーションがもらえるから。神話が好きだから。

I can get primitive inspiration there, I love myth related to Shrines

目には見えない大きなものに対して祈ることで謙虚な気持ちになれるから。そうすることで自分は世界を構成する1つのピースであると実感できるから。

I feel humble when I pray to the spirit, then I’m aware of myself is one of the pieces compose this world

大きな視点を意識することで、物事に対して主観的に捉えすぎていた部分にもフッと力を抜いて向き合うことができるから。

When I get the Bigger view point, I’m not trapped by My narrow-minded ideas anymore.

季節の冷やしるこをいただきました。I ate seasonal treats, sweet Azuki(red bean) soup.

It says:

The Azuki (red bean) named after the expression: Melting Red

Ancient people believed colors have magical power, Red symbolizes Life, such as Sun, Fire, or Blood and it has sacred power to purify uncleanness.

That’s why we dress in red for celebrations, for example we wear red kimono jacket on 60th birthday.

Azuki(red bean) was originally black beans mutated into red beans.

The farmer wanted to keep the color of beans so that they can pass the power of color to the future generations.

お塩と海藻も入った爽やかなお味でした。

They add salt and seaweed to make It taste fresh.
